The Following is a list of suggestions to you prepare for your Professional Real Estate Photo Shoot:

Interior: Turn on all interior lights (recessed lights, lamps, accent lights, etc.)

Open all the blinds.

Hide all garbage cans (kitchen, bathroom, etc.)

Hide unnecessary items in the kitchen (sponges, racks, scrubbers, towels, etc.)

Hide magnets and photos from the fridge. Hide personal photos (optional)

Hide pet bowls, beds, toys & crates.
It is best if pets are taken for a walk, crated or kept out of sight. Put toilet lids down.

Hide kid/baby toys or at least minimize them.

Hide tissue boxes unless they are housed in something decorative.

Hide bathroom towels unless they are decorative.

Hide toothbrushes, razors, soaps, & shampoo from the bathrooms.

Hide unnecessary items from Nightstands.

I do not shoot inside closets, unless they are large walk ins.

Exterior: No cars in the driveway.

I normally do not shoot inside the garage, unless it is requested so you can use it to hide items.

Hide garbage cans in the garage or out of sight.

Remove Security yard signs if possible.

Remove anything that looks seasonal, such as holiday decorations.

Keep in mind that less is more, not just for clutter, but for people. If possible, treat this photo session the same as a showing, and have the sellers take an hour in a coffee shop or visit a neighbor.
